Amy Rothman, principal of Architrave Interiors has designed hundreds of residential and hospitality projects throughout the United States and abroad.

Amy studied at the University of Michigan and at Parsons School of Design in New York City, and she has an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.  She is a licensed real estate agent, and was a two-term member of the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board.  In addition, Amy is a licensed psychotherapist and a certified mediator. Amy has also worked extensively as a professional chef in restaurants, catering companies and educational settings. She knows firsthand the importance of good design and smart space planning for optimal performance in the kitchen.  Her unique combination of skills as an interior designer, professional chef, and licensed psychotherapist allow her to provide expert layout and design guidance with attention to both form and function,  and a calm presence to help navigate through the construction process.
